As per Order dated March 6, 2022 passed by the Honourable Supreme Court, the admission in public and private sector universities and their valid affiliated law colleges, henceforth will be subject to passing the Law Admission Test (LAT) which will be held twice a year. The LAT will be conducted by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). The test will be for admission in five-year/three-year LLB programme and will be valid for two years. There is no test fee.

Who Can Appear for the Test?
• Students with 12 years of schooling (HSSC) or equivalent Test Category HAT-UG-L Law Admission Test (LAT) (12 years equal education) Details of Test Centres Applicants may select any test centre from the list available on HEC website; however, for their own convenience, they are advised to choose a test centre nearest to their residence/district of domicile.
Deadline for Online Registration

Last date for online registration is Tuesday, January 15, 2020.
Date of Test
• Date of test will be announced on HEC website: www.hec.gov.pk
• Roll number slips will be sent on
provided postal addresses to those candidates who are registered on HEC
online registration process. SMS will be sent for test date, time and venue.
Note: Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
