PPL NTS Test Result 2021
Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) is a frontline player in the hydrocarbon sector for over seven decades with a consistent track record in youth development, especially for local communities residing around its operational areas. As part of the company’s commitment to capacity building of local skilled youth around its producing fields, PPL is pleased to offer a 2-year on-job training program on contract to young engineers and diploma holders who
are domiciled residents of districts Dera Bugti, Kandhkot/ Kashmore, Matiari, Sanghar, Rawalpindi/ Chakwal, and Attock.
Applicants meeting the standard eligibility criteria provided below may appear for a written test conducted by National Testing Service (NTS) in Karachi, Sukkur, Quetta, and Rawalpindi.
The test date will be announced by NTS on their website.
ON-JOB TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES
Special Graduate Trainee Engineers & Diploma Holders on a 2-year contract
(1) SPECIAL GRADUATE TRAINEE ENGINEERS
Pakistani nationals with at least a bachelor’s degree in engineering (minimum 16 years of education) in petroleum, mechanical, electrical, electronics, chemical, or a degree related to these disciplines recognized by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC)
(2) SPECIAL TRAINEE DIPLOMA HOLDERS
Pakistani nationals with a 3-year Diploma in Associate Engineering (DAE) in petroleum, mechanical, electrical, electronics, chemical, or diploma related to these disciplines recognized by Technical or Secondary Board of Education. Only domiciled residents of the given areas meeting the above criteria are eligible to take the test relevant to their category/ qualification.
How to Apply
Candidates meeting the above standard eligibility criteria may register themselves with NTS through their website www.nts.org.pk latest by August 16, 2021, and paying a non-refundable fee (candidates will pay 50 percent of the fee and the remaining 50 percent will be borne by PPL). Applications sent directly to PPL in contravention of the prescribed procedure will not be entertained.
Candidates securing the minimum required NTS score will be selected on merit on the basis of a number of available trainee positions. Securing the minimum required NTS score of 40 percent marks does not automatically entitle a candidate for further consideration.
